14U Competitive

Born 2005 & 2006

The 14U program is devoted to the continued development of fundamental skills essential to the game of water polo. Swimming endurance and physical preparation are vital components to the development of the 14U athlete. Participation in dry land fitness is an important part of their training.

14U competitive athletes practice for seven & a half hours a week. They are expected to participate in club minor league nights, provincial league bantam (PLB) events, provincial league cadet (PLC) events, provincials and the western National Championship League (NCL). The purpose of the western NCL is to introduce players to the NCL format and have every player participate. Athletes travel outside of Saskatchewan for western NCL events and are responsible for their own travel arrangements. Team suits & shirts are mandatory.

Please refer to ‘Training Schedule’ for practice times and ‘Fee Schedule’ for cost.

Please Note: 14U competitive athletes are eligible to participate in Water Polo Sask’s (WPS) development centre (DC). Learn more here.
